Public transport is your secret weapon – It’s cheaper, you meet real people, and sometimes you get an impromptu tour from a chatty commuter.

There have been a few places that I’ve relied on public transportation – London, Toronto, Chattanooga. Yes, Chattanooga has a free shuttle that runs from the south side of the city to the North Shore. I used it to get to work and to show friends around the city. Great option for those that want to explore the city!
