West Africa - This was all part of the unplanned itinerary and while I mostly expected we would come this route, I didn't know that we'd go into Pirate defense mode and have to keep our cabin curtains closed while guards patrolled the upper decks at night with the exterior lights off. It is almost June! Can you believe it?! Sometimes I wonder about what you all are thinking as you've been reading this from your normal lives.
